Change is the salt of life. Without change human life becomes stagnant and sluggish. However, change is not easy to bring about because the process of change sets into motion a chain reaction of alterations, modification and improvements sweeping into the broader extensive structure of society, foraying into every single dimension of the, life on this earth i.e. social, economic, environmental, scientific, cosmic, political and global. The shift in the status quo that the phenomenon of change invariably entails, along a package deal of the enhancement of happiness, growth, comfort, efficiency and a heap of challenges, human and capital resource investment, greater commitment and incessant brainstorming. Change makes it mandatory for every person or institution to bring about modification in the modus operandi or the way of operation. Visionary and futuristic people are quick enough to perceive the shadow of coming events and gird up their loins beforehand to keep abreast of the pace of change.
This is precisely what Shri Bhaikaka and Shri Bhikhabhai did when they pioneered Vallabh Vidyanagar and Charutar Vidya Mandal half a century ago. The indefatigable efforts made by this farsighted duo were later on kept up by Dr. H. M. Patel as rich cultural and institutional heritage.
Charutar Vidya Mandal (CVM) is committed to impart value-based quality education that aims at the creation of "Global Citizens". Natubhai V. Patel College of Pure and Applied Sciences (NVPAS) was established in 1996 with the noble mission of disseminating scientific and technological knowledge to the curious youth of our nation. With the aid of sound and spacious infrastructure, knowledgeable and committed teachers and unparalleled techno-scientific ethos, the college has carved a special niche for itself in a short span since its inception.
As a result the college has been accredited as 'A' grade institute by NAAC and certified by ISO 9001: 2008 for its quality standards as well as by UGC section 2(f) and 12(B) for its capacity to carry out sophisticated and streamlined research projects. NVPAS has set up novel trends and policies on the campus and has pioneered many useful systems with encouraging results. The college gives the students exposure to the most recent developments and trends in science and technology. Students are furnished with an opportunity to develop their overall personality by participating in various extra-curricular activities that the college organizes. The college has started M.Sc. (IT), integrated five year course from June 2012.
