BACHELOR OF COMPUTER APPLICATION (B.C.A.) is an undergraduate degree program offered at NVPAS since 1998. Duration of the program is Three/Four years as per NEP 2020 with effect from Academic Year 2023-24. The program is considered as a foundation course for students who want to make their career in the field of Computer Science and Applications.
BCA graduates can start their career as programmers and can rise to top level management. The programme prepares computer professionals in the various fields such as Business Sectors, Government Sectors, Scientific Research, Medical Science, Social Sciences, Management, and Communication etc..
Provides the knowledge about various areas like Web development, Application development, Software Engineering, Database Management, Networking, Data Science and many more. To open opportunities in Software Developer, Technical Support, IT Analyst, Web and Application Developer, Junior Analyst, Computer Support Service Specialist, Software Publisher and many other IT related roles.
Students intending to take admission to F. Y. B. C. A. must have passed Higher Secondary Examination (12th standard in any stream) with English (Compulsory).
