International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking : In collaboration of NCC cell of NVPAS with 2 Gujarat Compo(Tech) COY NCC and 4 Gujarat Girls Battalion NCC Anand. In this celebration, Dr Partibha Parihar, Assistant Professor of BT/GT/BNF Department of NVPAS has provided a historic perspective on World Pharmaceutical Day and discussed effective redressal strategies for drug addiction. The second speaker of the event was Major Ekta Jaiswal, who is an Adam Officer of 4 Gujarat Girls Battalion, and has expressed her opinion on how the use of illegal drugs could affect a person's career, family and nation's progress

Orientation Program on Anti-Ranging : Students were informed about their part and the role they should play in approaching the concerned personnel in case they are faced with any instances of ragging. As per the UGC Regulations and as per the Judgement of Hon’ble Supreme Court, all students were guided and encouraged to fill online Anti-ragging Affidavit form.

Blood Donation CampBlood donation camp was organised jointly by NSS Unit, Red Cross Anand, LIONS Club of Viththal Udyognagar in which 86 unit of blood was collected.

Tree plantaiton : Tree plantation program was orgnaised under the banner of "Ek ped ma ke nam" in which inspire the volunteer to plant at least one tree near by their resident place and approximately 87 students plant a tree near by their places.

Tree Plantation : Celebrated as a part of celebration of 78th Independence Day with full National Spirit, Joy and Happiness. Tree plantation was done by Dr. Basudeb Bakshi, Principal and President of Madhyasth Samiti, Dr. Kundan Mishra, Vice President of Madhyasth Samiti and Dr. Monika Patel, NCC Care Taker Officer. NCC cadets have also participated in this noble event. Sampling for tree plantation were gifted by Dr. Sushmita Sahoo, Assistant Professor of Environmental Science Department.

Coastal Area Cleaning: NSS unit of Natubhai V. Patel College of Pure and Applied Sciences, A constituent college of CVM University organized a coastal area cleaning activity at Khambhat village, Dist: Anand on Monday, 30th September 2024. A total of 55 NSS volunteers, accompanied by 1 NSS Program Officer and 3 faculty members participated .this activity was organised with a view to spreasding awareness among the students about importnce of cleanliness on the coastal area. The event was further supported by prominent local figures, including Mayank Patel (PA to MLA Chiragbhai), Ketanbhai Patel (Member of Taluka Panchayat), Nikhilbhai Patel (Member of Taluka Panchayat), Rajubhai Malu (Member of Taluka Panchayat), Maheshbhai Patel (Mukhi), Maheshbhai Patel (OMEGA Co. Owner), and Kishanbhai Patel (Naivedh Hotel Owner).During the activity, volunteers diligently collected approximately 38 kg of plastic waste from the coastal area. The collected waste was responsibly submitted to the coastalarea authorities for proper disposal in an environmental- friendly manner. This initiative not only contributed to cleaner coastal surroundings but also highlighted the importance of community participation in environmental conservation. The involvement of local leaders added significant value to the event, motivating the volunteers and fostering a spirit of collective responsibility towards nature.The event concluded successfully, reinforcing the commitment of the NSS unit to social and environmental causes.

Cleaning Oath : NSS unit of Natubhai V. Patel College of Pure and Applied Sciences, A constituent college of CVM University has organized a swachhta pledge activity at college campus on Tuesday, 1st October2024. A total of 989 individuals, including students, faculty members, and staff, centrally took Swachhta Pledge, reaffirming their commitment to cleanliness and contributing to the vision of a clean and green India. The activity encouraged everyone to actively participate in maintaining cleanliness in their surroundings and spread awareness about its importance. The event was a successful initiative in promoting social responsibility and environmental sustainability among the college community.

Campus Cleaning: NSS unit of Natubhai V. Patel College of Pure and Applied Sciences, a constituent institute of CVM University, organized a campus cleaning program under the guidance of Principal Dr. Basudev Bakshi and Vice president of madhyasth samiti Dr. Kundan Mishra. The initiative aimed to raise awareness about cleanliness among students.CVM University’s NSS Coordinator, Prof. Kartik Jagtap, along with NSS volunteers of the college, actively participated in the event. The program was conducted by NSS Program Officers Dr. Tejas Thakkar and Dr. Dhananjay Dhruv and Ex-officio Mrs. Nency Patel, Mrs. Tejashree Trivedi.

Best out of Waste: The NSS unit of Natubhai V. Patel College of Pure and Applied Sciences, a constituent institute of CVM University, organized a "Best Out of Waste" competition, under the guidance of Principal Dr. Basudev Bakshi and Vice President of Madhyasth Samiti, Dr. Kundan Mishra.The competition aimed to encourage creativity and environmental consciousness among students by transforming waste materials into useful and artistic products. Participants showcased innovative ideas, demonstrating the importance of recycling and sustainable practices.The program was conducted by NSS Program Officers Dr. Tejas Thakkar and Dr. Dhananjay Dhruv and Ex-officio Mrs. Nency Patel, Mrs. Tejashree Trivedi.

Organ Donation Camp: The NSS unit of Natubhai V. Patel College of Pure and Applied Sciences, Institute of CVM University, organized an Organ Donation Awareness Expert Talk under the guidance of Principal Dr. Bhavin Patel and Vice President of Madhyasth Samiti, Dr. Kundan Mishra. The session was conducted by Mr. Nilesh Mandlewala, a renowned expert in the field of organ donation awareness.he session aimed to educate students and faculty about the importance of organ donation, dispelling myths, and encouraging individuals to pledge as organ donors. Mr. Mandlewala shared valuable insights on the legal and ethical aspects of organ donation and emphasized how a single donor can save multiple lives.The program was conducted by NSS Program Officers Dr. Tejas Thakkar and Dr. Dhananjay Dhruv and Ex-officio Mrs. Nency Patel, Mrs. Tejashree Trivedi.

Blood Donation Camp: Under the guidance of Principal Dr. Bhavin Patel of Natubhai V. Patel College of Pure and Applied Sciences, a blood donation camp was organized in the college in collaboration with the NSS and NCC units. Students and staff of the college enthusiastically participated in the event. A total of 20 units of blood were collected in this camp. Students who couldn't donate blood due to low hemoglobin levels were provided with necessary medication free of cost by the Indian Red Cross Society - Anand. Thalassemia Screening camp : A thalassemia awareness and testing camp was organized at a constituent college of CVM University, Natubhai V. Patel College of Pure and Applied Sciences, the institution of CVM University, Under the guidance of Dr. Bhavin Patel, by the NSS unit jointly the Indian Red Cross Society-Anand. In this camp, 105 students were tested for thalassemia.
